Japanese Tea Ceremony

A quiet gathering inspired by Chado (茶道), the Japanese Way of Tea. Through simple ritual, ceremonial matcha, foraged flowers, and seasonal sweets, each gathering offers an opportunity to slow down and notice the beauty of the present moment.

About MY PRACTICE

For the past ten years, I've studied Chado with an 87-year-old tea master at a Soto Zen temple in Northern California. I've also traveled with him to Japan as part of my practice.
